Owner-operators
Per-run pay by mileage
How you're paid
- · $75 for a local run of up to 5 miles, scaling to $400 for a 200-mile run.
- · $2.00 per mile beyond 200 miles, including a $0.20 fuel surcharge.
What a typical week looks like
Over the last ten weeks our owner-operators grossed between $3,400 and $4,600 in a typical week (median about $4,000). That is gross settlement pay before your fuel, insurance, ELD and other deductions; the typical net after those came to about $2,800. Full mileage table and the weekly deduction sheet are sent the moment you text us.

Questions drivers ask
Am I home every day?
On local runs, yes — you finish your shift and drive home. We also run regional loads that go farther from Houston; tell our recruiting team whether you want local work, regional work, or both.
Do I need my own chassis?
No. We run company-owned chassis and hold pool agreements, so you don't need to own or lease a chassis to drive for us.
Is detention time paid?
Yes. Detention, layover and stops are paid on top of your per-move or per-mile rate — see the pay breakdown above.
What deductions come out of owner-operator settlements?
Fixed weekly deductions cover ELD, occupational accident, liability and cargo insurance. We text you the exact weekly deduction sheet as soon as you reach out.
Do you haul hazmat?
No. We do not haul hazardous materials. If you hold a hazmat endorsement, it's used only for TSA security verification — not for hauling hazmat freight.
